ABOUT
The Michigan Elite 25 Foundation was founded in 2013 by former NBA player, Tim McCormick, and sports marketing expert, Michael Dietz. During the summer and throughout the school year, our selection committee evaluates basketball players throughout the State of Michigan. Players in each grade level (rising 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th graders) are evaluated based on skill level and potential, and the “Elite 25” from each grade level are selected to take part in our camp. Participants will develop basketball skills, be exposed to basketball competition from across the state, attend educational seminars, and experience valuable guest lectures.
Our mentoring component emphasizes the importance of hard work, family, and community. Our camp helps young men establish high self-leadership standards, community awareness, and a winning game plan to make personal goals and basketball dreams a reality.

OUR MISSION
The Michigan Elite 25 Basketball Program will change the culture of youth basketball in Detroit and throughout the State of Michigan by encouraging the top players to create a winning game plan to strengthen their life skills and to help maximize their personal, academic and athletic goals and dreams.
Along with helping to develop outstanding basketball players, this mentoring program emphasizes educational topics, community values, family relationships and the importance of creating a long-term game plan of success, both on and off the court.
